The Emirates Triathlon Association has launched a virtual sports training program remotely, which is a new community initiative to help in the exceptional circumstances the country and the world go through, and athletes from different countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Egypt, participate in the initiative and aim to keep athletes in their physical and technical fitness In preparation for the return of sports activity soon.

A press statement said: «During the remote training sessions, the players use several applications, including visual communication applications, and the (Zwift) application for jogging and cycling, where the bicycle and treadmill are linked to smart devices to implement programs designed in this regard, which are running and cycling Aerobic spaces for the same distances that were used in realistic training outside the homes, and around the swimming exercise, the focus is on technical exercises similar to the regular swimming movements, and the association's initiative in virtual training is characterized by merging more than one smart application at one time, to provide the opportunity for the largest number of irrigation We had different groups to participate in the initiative. ”

The training programs host every week as a guest coach from a different country, as Mubarak Mohammed, the coach of the Bahrain Triathlon team, will lead the training tomorrow, with the participation of a large number of triathlon players, and Abdulaziz Al-Shuaibi, the coach of the Jordanian team for the triathlon, will lead one of the training sessions in the week that Followed.

For its part, Asma Al-Janahi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Triathlon Association, explained that the exceptional circumstances in which the world currently lives require new and different thinking to train athletes after the official activities ceased, so the association presented the virtual training initiative. She said that what is new in the initiative is to integrate more than one smart application together, and broadcast the exercises directly at the expense of the association on "Instagram", in order to reach the largest possible segment of people. The association always takes into consideration that its initiatives include all segments of society, so it worked to make the initiative available and also suitable for athletes of children and people of determination. She added, "We invite all those interested in distance training to join us in this initiative that supports the state's social separation trends."
