Pierre Mignery, director of skiing at the International Ski Association, Fis, says in an interview with VG that he plans for an alternative World Cup season.

- In May, the length committee will discuss this. The most optimistic is a reduced competition program. But we do not know how it will be until this summer, says Mignery.

The World Cup season normally starts in November and Mignery has several different options for the program. Men and women can be separated so as not to have too many people in the same place, the service team can be reduced and competitions without crowds can be conducted.

In addition, the Tour de Ski may be held in one country.

- Great flexibility is necessary. The biggest problem is knowing what rules we have to follow later, he tells VG.
