Usually, a number of older orienteering fans compete each week in the popular "Luffar League" exercise competition. But because of the current coronary pandemic, the competition has been canceled - and it has aroused strong emotions.

- Sadness, of course. Then it collapsed a little for one, says Sten Bergstrand when SVT Sport meets him in Farstanäset south of Stockholm.

Instead, they have started the "Week of the Week" where they each Wednesday orientate in a forest in the immediate area. They print the maps themselves and then it is up to everyone to sneak out at their best.

- It's great. You have to be out and about and that is what we are fixing on, says Bengt Öqvist, who sees no problem with all orientation veterans belonging to a so-called risk group in the corona pandemic.

- It is an activity where we are usually a couple of hundred but now we go out one by one and then it works, I was completely alone in the forest.

Afterwards, they end up with a joint cup of coffee - smoother than usual - and the gang longs for the next meeting.

- It means that we live again, says Sten Bergstrand.
