Chronicles, documentaries and books have been made about the Swedish bronze heroes, but how many have seen or remember the matches in their entirety?

What did the game really look like in the creaky premiere against Cameroon? And how bad were we in the extension against Romania?

Now SVT takes a grip on the 1994 Summer Olympics and shows all of Sweden's matches in its entirety.

- One thing is certain, we who experienced the mythical World Cup summer 1994 never forgot it. Ravelli's decisive save and Kennet Andersson's goaltender are two of many highlights etched. Now we make a time travel of over 25 years and hope that many who were enchanted then want to enjoy the World Cup again, says SVT Sports Manager Åsa Edlund Jönsson.

Studio talks around the matches

SVT will show Sweden's World Cup matches and also offers 15 minutes of studio calls before each match, calls during the break between the halves, and 15 minutes afterwards.

In the studio are Mats Nyström and Jane Björck together with SVT's football expert Daniel Nannskog. A number of guests from the national team in 1994 are invited via video calls to each match.

"Don't be ripe for the assignment"

Nyström and Björck were program managers together even when it began in 1994.

- I had barely run a Sportnytt before that, so I wasn't really ready for that assignment. It is only much later that I have realized how big it was, says Mats Nyström and continues:

- It will be fun to see all the matches again and think about Sweden's performance, for example comparing the pace then against today.

Jane Björck:

- It's both surprising and cool to have the chance to relive this so special championship. It was great to be able to follow this historic Swedish football trip from the first kick-off to the last finish signal.
