Son Heung-min is undergoing basic military training in Korea, officially announced by his team, England professional football Tottenham.

Tottenham said through the official website, "Son Heung-min will be serving in the military in Korea this month."

It was previously announced that Son Heung-min will enter the Marine Corps 9th Brigade Training Center on Jeju Island on the 20th of this month and receive basic military training for 3 weeks.

Heung-Min Son participated in the wild card of the national team under the age of 23 in Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games in 2018 and received a special military service benefit by leading the gold medal.

Through this, he was transferred to the arts-athletic personnel, and after completing basic military training, active as an active player for 34 months and completing 544 hours of service, he completed his military service.

Son Heung-min, who had consulted with the club for military training during the suspension of the Corona 19 pandemic during the English Premier League, is in quarantine after returning home on 28th of May to strengthen quarantine.

Tottenham also reported that Son Heung-min was in quarantine, saying, "We are in regular contact with Son Heung-min, who has been trained to recover from an arm fracture injuries suffered in February."

With the spread of Corona19, EPL is suspended indefinitely.

The suspension period was gradually extended, and in late May, the resumption was canceled and the position was decided to reopen only when it was safe to play.
