This weekend SVT Sports football expert Daniel Nannskog chatted with your viewers. The question of a relocation of the football season then came up. Nannskog's response was clear. He wanted to make a change.

- If there is a time to look carefully at moving over to autumn / spring, it is now. Then the clubs get time to prepare well, Nannskog said.

The football base sees problems but leaves the door open

Swedish elite football's secretary general, Mats Enquist, believes that the issue of changing the season order has always been ongoing in Swedish football. But it is no longer relevant now because of the corona eruption.

- The issue is widespread and constantly up-to-date, but it is not currently on the table. The fact that people are discussing this is probably a sign that we cannot play football right now, says Enquist to SVT Sport.

The most thorough investigation into a possible change of season was two years ago. The answer then, is the same as now. It wouldn't work so well.

- It's hard to implement. It is not positive for the public. It is a matter of audience flows and the police's security perspective with supporters. It's also a matter of arena access, says Enquist.

Do you feel that the Allsvenska clubs have this season change as a minor or major part of their agenda today?

- There is probably no difference compared to before. But I want to clarify that this is not a matter of prestige for us. If the clubs wanted to implement it, we would work for it. But we and the clubs have other questions to answer, Enquist concludes.
