Today, Monday, the Football Association coordinating team held a coordination meeting with the visual communication system, headed by the First Vice-President of the Federation, President of the Professional League, Abdullah Al-Junaibi.
The working group was briefed on the latest developments in sports affairs and the spherical activity was halted due to the emergence of the new Corona virus and the role played by the FIFA, which formed a task force tasked with developing perceptions, scenarios and recommendations issued by FIFA to member national federations to work on during the coming period .
During the waiting period for the FIFA decisions, the work team undertakes proactive measures to keep pace with the health situation and its changes, in coordination with the competent authorities in the country and informing the clubs of these measures.
A working group has been formed from the departments of competitions and national teams at the Federation and the Technical Department of the Professional League to work out a vision for the agenda of the next phase in line with the calendar of the International Federation and the Asian Football Association and the entitlements of the national teams.
The work team developed a number of scenarios regarding players ’contracts in different categories (citizens - foreigners - residents and births) in coordination with the Committee on the Status and Transfers of Players in the Football Association, while the topic of local competitions, whether the Arab Gulf League, was referred to the Board of Directors of the Professional League, and the President’s Cup and first-class competitions The Football Association Competitions Committee.
During the meeting, the registration and registration period for the new season was discussed. The Committee on the Status and Transfer of Players was tasked with defining the period in coordination with the work team of the relevant departments.
All perceptions will be submitted to the Football Association and Professional Association Board of Directors for review and accreditation.
