This year's season has not yet started and so far 8 of 22 competitions have either been canceled or postponed.

Last Saturday, former F1 manager Bernie Ecclestone said that the whole season should be canceled.

On Monday, F1 will hold a crisis meeting to discuss the economy.

According to Zak Brown, the stable has already agreed to cut the 2021 budget ceiling from 175 to 150 million dollars, corresponding to just over SEK 1.1 billion.

Brown wants that sum to be lowered further.

- If we do not handle the situation properly and are very aggressive, considering what is happening in the world right now, can I see two stalls disappear? Yes. In fact, I can see four stables disappearing if this is not handled properly.

- Given how long it takes to get an F1 stall started, and given the economic situation and the state of health in the world right now, the timing is the worst possible. I think F1 is in a very fragile state right now.
