Carlstad Crusaders have been in 17 of the last 18 finals, taking eight SM golds. But despite a solid foundation to stand on, the club is hit hard by the fact that the season is now postponed as far as August 15.

- None of the contracts we signed are valid this fall. We will review all contracts, ”says Rikard Borg to Värmlands Folkblad.

This means that Crusaders do not like the way the union has chosen to handle the matter. Previously, they have postponed the premiere one month at a time, but now choose to postpone it two and a half months instead.

- I think it is a pity that you are in such a hurry to make a decision. In all likelihood, it would have been the same regardless of what was expected, but now even our associations have not had the chance to comment.

- As a sport, we are, of course, the first to postpone the season for so long. For example, the men's football in Sweden is aiming to start the season in June. And we as an association have invested a lot of money in the spring that we will not be able to get again, says Borg to Värmlands Folkblad.
