At the end of March last year, Rikard Grip left the role of national team manager, a position he had held since 2010. The week after Grip's departure Jonas Peterson was presented as new manager - but even before the past season started he had to leave his post.

A decision that upset Charlotte Kalla.

- I can only speak from myself and it felt like we got new energy when Jonas joined the team, they are pretty much needed to make me feel that this boost, so my confidence in Jonas has been strong and big from the start, the 32-year-old told SVT when the message came.

- I feel sorry that Jonas is no longer a national team manager.

But now Kalla can be pleased that a new manager is finally in place.

- The impression I got from Anders the times we met is that he is a happy, confident and nice person, Kalla tells SVT Sport.

- A guy with both feet on the ground.
