Two weeks ago, the message came that the men's European Championship was postponed to the summer of 2021 due to the spread of the corona virus.

It raised the question of when the ladies' European Championship would be played. It was supposed to go in England from 7 July to 1 August 2021.

Karl-Erik Nilsson, chairman of the Swedish Football Association and vice-chairman of Uefa, has previously said that he thinks 2022 is the most viable alternative at the moment.

Now it is clear that it will be so. The championship may move one year ahead in time.

It clubbed Uefa at a telephone conference on Wednesday, writes the Danish Football Association on Twitter.
