Over the past few weeks, a competition has been arranged per weekend on the Cactus Tour, a "money tour" in Arizona that anyone can sign up for and where a portion of the registration fee goes back to the players in the form of prize money.

Three weeks ago Pettersson won and the following week she lost the special to star Anna Nordqvist. There are about 20 participants per contest.

- It is great fun that we can continue and that the courses are kept open here in Arizona so we can play some competitions, even if they are very small, it is better than nothing. A good confidence boost and fun to see that the training I have done results even if I am not allowed to play on the real tour, says Pettersson.

What is it like to play when almost no one else does?

- We got some comments. People are surprised that we are still playing and that we dare. But as I understand it, Arizona is not as dangerous as it is in many other states. We had been out and training anyway, but at the same time they take into account that we should be kept safe. We stay away from each other, we put the flag in and there are no rakes in the bunkers. We are still careful.

In the last competition no Swedish was included. In addition to prize money, Sarah Burnham was awarded with toilet paper.

- I think it's fun that we can come out and have some kind of competition and measure ourselves against other players. Although not as big and important competitions as one had hoped for. I try to see it as any competition and do my preparation properly. Everyone wants to win.

On the LPGA tour there are still scheduled competitions in May.
