A towel used by American basketball legend Kobe Bryant, who was killed in a plane crash last January, was sold at more than 33,000 dollars in his last official match, as announced by the American auction company, Iconic Awakens, today, Sunday.

The company revealed that the white towel for Kobe Bryant was sold for 33,077.16 dollars, and the buyer also received two used tickets from that match.

"The buyer has a collection of holdings linked to the Los Angeles Lakers," auction leader Jeff Wolf told CNN. "He (the buyer) is a passionate lakers fan and his long-term project is to build a museum in southern California," he said.

Bryant, who won the NBA 5 times with the Los Angeles Lakers and twice in the Olympic gold with the United States national team, played his last official match on April 13, 2016 at the end of the regular season (2015-2016), which his team won over the Utah Jazz 101-96 after the extension. .
