The star of Paris SG, Neymar, returned home to Brazil after the cessation of the French championship due to the epidemic of new coronavirus, respects the rules of containment, said his entourage on Sunday.
"He has no visitors," said his communications adviser in a statement, noting that the footballer is serving his forties in Brazil in a house "completely isolated" with other people who have traveled with him from France.
The images of Neymar with several other people on a volleyball court, posted Thursday by the PSG striker on Instagram, had caused controversy in Brazil. The newspaper Mundo Deportivo had notably published shortly after an article entitled: "Ney: controversial confinement".

"The photo that sparked the article (...) shows Neymar Jr. next to other people in quarantine with him, who live and have traveled together from Paris to Brazil," said the press release. According to the text, the player of the Seleção has made his residence available to his companions so that they can spend their two weeks of quarantine after the trip and before going to his family's home.
"The only exception to this rule is her son, Davi Lucca, who came to live with his father," the statement said.
Pending the end of confinement, Neymar "continues to do his daily work, injury prevention and physical fitness, with his trainer Ricardo Rosa, impatiently awaiting the end of this sad moment of humanity and the return to the professional activity that will follow, "concludes the statement.
