The League, Swedish Elite Football (Sef) and the clubs are sitting right now trying to produce a game program for the Allsvenskan 2020. The reason why it cannot be finalized is that the European Football Association (Uefa) has not made a decision on how to do with the intended national team break and European qualifying.

- It starts from the beginning of June. It will be valid until another decision has to be made, but I assume that we can do this, says Enquist.

If, due to the spread of the corona virus, you have to make a new decision, it will happen in mid-May. Still, pushing the Swedes further is something that one wants to avoid.

- All parties have an impact. Nor can we move forward the league start as much as possible due to arena access and such. The longer we advance the league start, the greater the problems for both us and our partners.

“Like everyone involved, we want all 480 matches in Allsvenskan and Superetta to be played and that is still what we are working towards and believe is possible. Exactly when the series needs to start for all matches to be played is primarily a matter for Sef, as we are in constant dialogue with ”writes communications director Daniel Lagerqvist in an e-mail to SVT Sport.
