As of today, Stina Nilsson was seen practicing biathlon at the Östersund Ski Stadium, but then her only comment to SVT's reporter was in place:

- I'll just talk a little.

Stina Nilsson is one of Sweden's biggest long-distance stars and has won Olympic gold in sprint 2018 and double World Championship gold in Seefeld (relay and sprint relay) last year. In total, she has seven World Cup medals and five Olympic medals on the track record. In the 2018/2019 season, she won the sprint cup and thus became the first female cross country skier to win a title in the world cup.

Stina Nilsson breaks Johaug in the World Cup

Canceled the season prematurely

In mid-February, she chose to cancel the season prematurely due to too much training after a previous rib injury from last summer.

"I did not take the time to rest and heal what was there," Nilsson told SVT Sport then.

She thus follows in the same footsteps as Magdalena Forsberg, who was a national team skater in cross-country skiing before becoming one of the world's leading biathletes of all time with, among other things, six World Cup golds.

SVT Sport is looking for Stina Nilsson, the Swedish Archery Association and the Swedish Archery Association for comment.
