The Jordanian newspaper "Al-Ghad" revealed that the Jordanian basketball team, Ahmed Al-Duwairi, a professional in the Turkish ranks of Fenerbahce, was infected with the new Corona virus (Covid-19).

The newspaper said: "Al-Douiri was infected with the virus six days ago, and the player is currently being subjected to a domestic quarantine in Turkey, and his health is very good, and he is recovering."

The official account of the Turkish club Fenerbahce announced that "three players from the basketball team were infected with the Coruna virus, they are: Czech Yan Vasily, Greek Kostas Solukas, and Jordan Al-Dweiri, in addition to the managing director of the team Genk Rinda."

The club said that «a group of players and administrators of the team suffered from the symptoms of Corona, which necessitated their transfer to the hospital for tests to ensure that they were infected with the virus.

It is noteworthy that the basketball league in Turkey did not stop until a few days ago, knowing that Corona's injuries in Turkey reached more than 600 injuries.
