• Kaisa Mäkäräinen, age 37, Finland
Decided to quit slightly earlier due to the corona virus. One of Finland's biggest biathletes, including six World Cup medals, of which one is gold, and 85 individual podiums in the World Cup, of which 27 are victories. The last one arrived in Oberhof in mid-January. Has won the overall World Cup three times.

• Michal Šlesingr, age 37, Czech Republic
A veteran with 18 seasons in the World Cup. In total, there have been twelve individual pallet seats, one of which is a victory, a mass start in Holmenkollen 2008. Has three World Cup medals in the baggage, one of which is gold in a mix relay from Kontiolax 2015. Has participated in four Olympics.

• Nadine Horchler, age 33, Germany
Not one of the heaviest German names, but has almost ten seasons in the World Cup and 2016/2017 was a highlight with, among other things, a World Cup victory.

alpine skiing

Nina Haver-Löseth, 31, Norway
One of Norway's largest profiles on the alpine side. Debuted in the World Cup as a 16-year-old in 2006. In total, it has become an Olympic medal in Team 2018 and two World Cup victories. Has been dragged with some damage concerns.

André Myhrer, 37, Sweden
Leaves a void that becomes difficult to fill. The health zone is the largest male alpine rider Sweden has had since Ingemar Stenmark. The big highlight, of course, is the Olympic gold from the dramatic competition in South Korea 2018. Also has eight World Cup victories.

Matts Olsson, 31, Sweden
Has run 114 world cup competitions, won one and taken three more podium places. Made two Olympics (at best ten) and six World Cups (at best five). Also has a bronze in the team competition in the World Cup.

“When I sum up, I am probably most proud that I was able to help keep life in Swedish grand slalom at the highest level during my career. Since of course the two years I belonged to the top seven is something I can also feel proud of, ”he says.

Peter Fill, age 37, Italy
Won the overall World Cup in the downhill race two years on the rake in 2016 and 2017. Took his first pallet spot as early as 2006 and in total he has had to step up on the pallet 21 times.

Fritz Dopfer, age 32, Germany
Was at his best between 2012 and 2016 when he took eight podium places in the World Cup, though no victory. During the 2015 World Cup he took his only individual World Cup medal, a silver in slalom.

Cross country skis

Teodor Peterson, 31, Sweden
Swedish national team player for over a decade and sprint specialist with, among others, two Olympic silver (sprint and sprint relay) from Sochi 2014. Also has two world cup victories in sprint from 2012 and 2013. Got his breakthrough when he won the sprint cup season 2011/2012 after the top ten- placements in twelve of thirteen races. Have had it heavier in recent seasons.
