The SHL clubs announced Saturday night that they are requesting that the SM playoff be canceled due to the corona virus.

The Swedish Ice Hockey Association will decide on this issue tomorrow, Sunday.

- It would be an immediate mistake to make any other decision with regard to the development in recent days. There is really no other decision in my world. Health must go first in such situations. Hockey is just hockey, there are bigger things, says SVT's expert Jonas Andersson about the message.

The Swedish Ice Hockey Federation must now decide whether to award any SM gold this season.

- If there is no endgame, then it is perfectly logical for me that there will be no winner. However sad it may seem. The prerequisites for winning an SM gold is to win the playoffs, not the basic series.
