There is great hysteria around the world with the corona virus on everyone's lips.

There are consequences for hockey too.

The Women's A- and B-World Championships have already been canceled and today the message came that the men's playoff hockey in both Norway and Denmark was stopped indefinitely as a result of the spread of the virus.

But in Sweden, the noises are different. The Public Health Authority has not yet made any recommendations regarding events. But should such a come, SHL has already decided.

Added a "corona group"

The finals play will start on Saturday and will be played - either with or without an audience.

- The playoffs should be played. With or without an audience, SHL CEO Michael Marchal tells Expressen.

Marchal tells the newspaper that no decisions will be made without the authorities' recommendations.

- We have set up a "corona group" where we try to create a readiness for all possible scenarios. But the main scenario is that we play the playoffs as usual. Based on what is at stake right now, it should be implemented just as it is intended.
