Once again, the head of the entertainment authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, returned to provoke the Egyptian sports street again after a period of stability accompanied by the Egyptian Al-Ahly club and its president Mahmoud Al-Khatib, after he announced his resignation from the club’s honorary presidency.

Last January, the president of the Saudi Entertainment Authority published a message he sent to Al-Ahly’s administration, requesting that he decide on his resignation from the club’s honorary presidency, which he submitted more than a year and a half ago, before the relationship between the two parties was recently settled and he announced the exchange of visits between him and the club’s board chairman. Mahmoud Al-Khatib.

Al-Sheikh published his resignation on his official page on the social networking site Facebook, and said: "After thinking a lot, I decided to submit my resignation from the honorary presidency of Al-Ahly Grand Club ... and to return to the ranks of the fans, encouraging and loving."
He added: "May God preserve Egypt and its good people, and may God grant success to all of our Arab clubs."

The head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority attached a copy of a letter signed by him and directed to the Board of Directors of Al-Ahly of Egypt stating his decision to resign. After a long period of ownership of the Pyramids Club and then relations with Al Ahly and Zamalek, which went through difficult and prosperous periods.
