Smolov lost millions

The Moscow City Court overturned the decision of the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow, which decided to recover from the insurance company the cost of car repairs in favor of a football player. But that is not all. Smolov was obliged to transfer three thousand rubles to insurers for legal costs.

The footballer tried to get compensation after the accident in Krasnodar in the summer of 2018. Then, while driving his limited edition BMW M5 First Edition, he lost control and crashed into a fence, and after that he escaped from an accident. For this, a local court deprived Smolov of a driver's license for a year. The forward also compensated the city for damage to the road fence - 58 thousand rubles.

Then the player sued the insurance company, trying to get compensation in the amount of more than six million rubles. The representative of Smolov in court said that he had already been punished for his act, and that the scene of the accident left for a short time because of excitement. As a result, in the fall of 2019, the Nikulinsky court of Moscow collected from the insurance company in favor of Smolov about eight million rubles, of which almost 6.5 million for car repairs and more than a million for the loss of presentation of an exclusive car.
