Just over two years ago, David Beckham, who turned 44 years old, got the go-ahead to start a team in MLS.

It became Inter Miami.

Tonight, the club debuted in the American league, MLS, away away from LAFC.

Beckham, who himself played in the Los Angeles rival Galaxy before, was of course in place with his wife Victoria. At the stand he was also seen talking to compatriot Gordon Ramsey.

On the pitch, however, his team fell. Carlos Vela, who last year won the shooter before Zlatan Ibrahimovic, became the only goal scorer in the premiere.

The full meeting came just before the break.

Miami is mostly made up of players most housed in MLS, but here is also former Celtic striker Lewis Morgan, who is also Scottish national team player.
