The Orange Women are playing in the final phase of the preparation for the Olympic Games exhibition games against Belgium (5 June) and Norway (9 June), as announced on Thursday.
The match against Belgium is played in the Rat Verlegh Stadium in Breda, which has room for 15,600 fans. The friendly match with Norway takes place at the Vijverberg, the home base of De Graafschap (capacity 11,100).
After the meetings with Belgium and Norway, one more practice match will be played before the Orange Women fly to Tokyo. That goodbye competition is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, but the opponent and location will be announced later.
The Orange Women assured themselves of participating in the Olympic Games at the World Cup last summer. Sweden, Great Britain, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, Japan and the United States are also sure of a ticket.
The team of national coach Sarina Wiegman will first play a practice tournament in France at the beginning of March. Then in April duels with Kosovo and Estonia await the European Championship qualification.
