After 14 games without goals, the Swedish rookie has scored two games in a row. In tonight's home meeting with Ottawa, 20-year-old Bemström decided on overtime where he showed up on a return and shot two important points to Columbus in the playoff hunt.

- I want to play well and it is important for my confidence that I do.

Last year Bemström was the best junior in SHL and was a big reason why Djurgården made it to the final, and he also entered Tre Kronor as a junior. The goal of the night meant the first victory since February 8.

With the win, Columbus steps up to the last Wild Cards spot and currently holds the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Marcus Högberg, who guarded the Ottawa goal, was a strong contributing reason for Ottawa getting a point. The Swede accounted for 41 saves in the match.
