Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, a domestic sports climbing competition in Saitama will be held without attendees in early next month.
The National Sports Climbing Tournament "Lead Japan Cup" will be held in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture on the 7th and 8th of next month, and also serves as a selection event for Japanese nationals who will participate in the international competition this season.
The sponsoring Japan Mountain and Sports Climbing Association has announced that the tournament will be held without spectators to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus among athletes and spectators.
Tickets that have been sold will be refunded.
