Gothenburg took a big step towards the quarterfinals in the cup with the victory of 3-1 against Linköping.

Linköping's former player Filippa Angeldahl, who has gone to Gothenburg just before this season, had to make her first goal for her new club when she set the management goal on penalty just before halftime, writes Göteborgs-Posten.

Angeldahl took center stage in a Gothenburg that took over more and more in the second half. Emma Koivisto trailed 2-0 after five minutes and ten minutes later Natalia Kuikka extended the lead to 3-0.

In between, Linköpingsbacken Nilla Fischer was expelled after dropping Gothenburg striker Pauline Hammarlund into a free position.

With only ten players on the pitch, Linköping could not come back even though Stina Blackstenius had a consolation goal towards the end.

In the next round on March 15, Gothenburg will meet Växjö on the away plan, while Linköping will go to Vittsjö. The best team in each group goes to the semi-finals.
