This time there was no controversy draw between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Fifteen months after their first confrontation , the Briton dominated the world champion in professional boxing. The one nicknamed "The Gipsy King" won against the now ex-king of the WBC heavyweights, during the 7th round.

This February 23, 2020 in Las Vegas, Tyson Fury was clearly more aggressive and more offensive than during the first act. Bigger, heavier and more technical than the defending champion, Tyson Fury shook him up like never before. From the 3rd round, the "Bronze Bomber" seemed to sound after receiving a straight from his challenger.

What now, Anthony Joshua ?

During the following rounds, Deontay Wilder suffered, suffered and was regularly cornered in the ropes. During the 7th round, it was too much for him. In any case, this is what the referee who stops the match believes, much to the chagrin of the defeated. If he was not knocked out by Tyson Fury, the American (42 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss in 44 games, now) did not give up.

Tyson Fury, 30 wins and 1 draw in 31 outings, can now dream of a "superfight" against his compatriot Anthony Joshua. The Briton of Nigerian origin holds the king's belts of the heavy IBF, WBA and WBO. Will this fight for unification soon take place?
