Salazar is suspended for four years for drug offenses. The message came after a two-year battle in court and just over four years of scrutiny. Salazar must have manipulated doping controls, used banned methods and made sure athletes got hold of the performance-enhancing substance testosterone.

The data on doping first appeared in the BBC program "Panorama" 2015.

- He was adamant in the belief that he would not change coach. I personally tried to convince him to change, Warner tells the BBC.

Farah, 36, has never been caught in a doping test and is not charged with anything.

- When the charges came against him, I flew to him for answers. He told me that the charges against him were false and that it had nothing to do with me, he promised. It turned out that was not true, Farah has previously told the BBC.

Salazar has appealed against the verdict and it will now be entered in the sports arbitration court (Cas).
