As usual, it became a rivalry meeting with a lot of emotion where the two team captains, Frölundas Joel Lundqvist and Färjestads Linus Johansson, went a bunch of dusts against each other.

But it was Linus Johansson who went out winning the game and was behind Färjestad's lead goal after two minutes of play. He served Per Åslund to the open goal.

- It's fun, I've had two or three open goals from him this season so it's fun to pay back.

Ferjestad then ran away in the second period where the team scored two goals in 33 seconds.

- I think we were a snap better all the time.

Frölunda goes heavy on away with a win in the last seven matches. In total, Frölunda has lost three of the last five matches.

- To stand here right after a match and try to do an analysis, when you are so cursed that you would like to run through a wall. It is not now that I do a good analysis, I know that, Roger Rönnberg tells C more.

All six meetings between Färjestad and Fröunda, with both CHL and SHL included, have ended with home wins.
