Paris Saint-Germain entered a new crisis after his 2-1 defeat by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday, as Neymar criticized his club for his way of dealing with his recent injury, while criticism of German coach Thomas Tuchel increased due to his tactical options.

The French champion - who came out of the same role in the last three seasons - seemed unusually heavy, and Neymar appeared faded despite scoring his team's only goal.

The Brazil striker played its first game in more than two weeks, after a break after a rib injury, and believes that the club showed excessive eagerness about it.

"It is difficult to miss four games," Neymar told reporters. "It was not my decision, unfortunately, but the decision of the club and the doctors. They are the decision-makers I did not like."

"We discussed a lot, I wanted to play, and I felt in good shape but the club was feeling intimidated, and in the end it was I who had to bear the consequences."

Neymar's comments come to write a new chapter in the Parisian club's crises, and after a short period of tension in the relationship between coach Tochel and French star Killian Mbappe because of the young player's refusal to replace him.

Coach Thomas Tuchel - who was criticized for not pushing the attack duo Edinson Cavani and Mauro Icardi in the last breath of the match despite the delay - said that Neymar "missed the rhythm and competitiveness".

In the presence of Neymar and Mbappe, the rising Norwegian striker Erling Halland snatched the spotlight and scored two goals for Dortmund, to give preference to the German team before visiting Paris on the 11th of next month.

Tochel admitted that his team "played with great fear" and faced great criticism for modifying its usual plan and adopting a 3-4-3 plan in the face of Tuesday, which confused the players.

But defender Prinsel Kempimbi refused to take responsibility for the coach, saying that "the defeat is not related to the coach's plans but to the players."
