“As you know, I am preparing hard for the upcoming boxing match with Alexander Emelianenko, and, as I found out, he is doing the same. Today, during a run while running through the streets of Grozny, they accidentally stumbled upon each other and immediately began to understand, so that sparks flew and the ground smoked, ”Kadyrov wrote.
Emelianenko, on his page, said that he was going to box with the president of the Chechen Republic, but noted that his subscribers would not see sparring.
In late November, Emelianenko defeated powerlifter Mikhail Koklyaev in a fight according to boxing rules. After that, Kadyrov challenged him to a duel.
In the track record of 38-year-old Emelianenko, performing in the heavyweight division, 28 victories, seven losses and one draw in MMA.
On April 3, Emelianenko will hold a duel with Russian Magomed Ismailov at the ASA 107 tournament in Moscow.
Earlier, ACA President Dmitry Yatsenko said that he did not see the point in educational conversations with Alexander Emelianenko, since he is an adult who is aware of the possible consequences of his own actions.
