The ranking based on the number of rounds per team:

  • Red Bull Racing - 113 laps

  • McLaren - 93 rounds
  • Williams - 89 rounds
  • Ferrari - 88 rounds

Problems for Renault? The team did not appear on the track in the afternoon. According to the team itself, it is because the car has to be adapted for Daniel Ricciardo, who is a lot smaller than Esteban Ocon who took action this morning. According to new rules, the pit boxes may only be closed if the floor has been removed from the car.

Formula 1 · one hour ago

Another 3 hours and 10 minutes - Lewis Hamilton climbs to third place at the expense of Verstappen. With 1.17.682 the Brit is a tenth rapper than Verstappen. Possibly also because it runs on softer (and therefore faster) tires.

    Formula 1 · 2 hours ago

Another 3 hours and 12 minutes - Nicholas Latifi almost loses control of his Williams at the end of the last corner, but still manages to keep the car under control. The Canadian, who joined the team from Grove in the afternoon, occupies twelfth place on the time list.

    Formula 1 · 2 hours ago

Another 3 hours and 17 minutes - Max Verstappen is the first driver to break the 100-lap limit at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Usually the teams speak of a successful test day when there are a hundred laps or more. Verstappen will increase that number considerably with just over three hours to go.

    Formula 1 · 2 hours ago

Another 3 hours and 22 minutes - After a fifteen minute stop, Verstappen turns his RB16 back on track. The Dutchman has completed 99 laps.

    Formula 1 · 2 hours ago

Another 3 hours and 42 minutes - Verstappen purrs and causes a yellow flag. The Dutchman comes on the gravel with his left rear tire and loses control of his RB16. He keeps his car talking and can reach the pit himself.

    Formula 1 · 2 hours ago

Another 3 hours and 45 minutes - In addition to Hamilton, a number of new faces appear on the asphalt:

    • Ricciardo - Renault (replaces Ocon)

"The maximum distance between our engine and the best engine in the field may be two tenths of a second."
