Fourcade had shot fully to his last shot which he drew high, two inches across the board. At the finish, Fourcade took a big lead but beat the stick in the snow with disappointment and screamed his disappointment. Then it stood between silver and gold.

But Johannes Thingnes Bo could not afford two booms in total. He had the gold in his hand until the very last shot, when the fateful miss arose. In addition, Thingnes Bö was worn in the track and could not hold the German Johannes Kühn's back, which started minutes earlier. However, the Norwegian was not so disappointed but waved to the camera in the goal area.

Sebastian Samuelsson and Peppe Femling had two beams (real edge in the last shot with a boom) each and reached positions around tenth which was a fall forward. The last starts were interrupted a short while by a snow storm on the track.

Jesper Nelin has big problems with his standing shooting. Today, all five penalty minutes came in the standing shooter: Two in the first and then he missed his first three shots in the closing shoot.

- I do not know why it is so bad to stop, do not think it should be so bad. Even shots that I think are hits are being bombed, says Nelin.
