The World Cup season in singles mix relay started with a win. Hanna Öberg, however, had a heavy day with two bars on the first stretch. Sebastian Samuelsson had to go out for just over minutes and chase.

- I was pretty frustrated. It was a little sour with the landscape shooting. Then during the standing, it was really difficult on the dike, says Hanna Öberg.

But after a nice stretch of Samuelsson, not least in terms of riding, Öberg had to go out as third. When it came to deciding on the embankment, the rally of the race so far Ukraine shot three boom in the wind, while Germany and Sweden shot full.

Erik Lesser had 13 seconds of lead and the victory within reach of the last shooter. Then he knocked through the total and shot four bombs, while Samuelsson only missed one.

- My push was shaky. But somehow I managed to keep it up during the competition. I am very pleased with my efforts, says Sebastian Samuelsson.

Sweden also had the fastest ride of all.

- In terms of performance, they have looked very strong during the competition. Then they seem to be able to keep their nerves in control as well, says Björn Ferry in SVT.

Sweden had the fastest ride of all.

But at the World Cup in Antholz, it is not at all the dynamic duo, who drove home a bronze at the previous World Cup in Östersund, reunited.

Sebastian Samuelsson is challenged by, among others, Jesper Nelin who showed good form in the hunt start.

-If I get the question, I will definitely say yes. It is a cool and fun competition where we took medal last year. But I also understand that many want to run it, he says.

Sweden should have released their team on Wednesday morning, but after the message from the national team management the message is delayed.

“It will be too much of a burden for the girl to run singlemixed. We decide which two will run after the men's race tomorrow, ”announced national team manager Anders Byström.

Hanna Öberg has shown good form and has taken two straight fourth places in the World Cup, at the start of the hunt and in the distance.

The question is whether the Swedish star will take the chance to get three days of competition free of charge for the big medal chance in the women's relay on Saturday and the final mass start on Sunday. Or if she runs the single mix relay.

-We shall see. I haven't decided yet.

Does the baton look bad to schedule?

-It takes a lot to make me stand over an individual competition. That's how it is.
