Maicol Rastelli never got started in yesterday's sprint in the Ski Tour in Åre.
The reason was that the Italian has not yet recovered from the damage he sustained in Saturday's hunting start in Östersund.
In an icy curve, Rastelli lost control and fell into the safety net. Later, when he was to travel, the Chinese Lin Bao came and drove him from behind. The blow took the misery, but the Italian followed the competition and made it to the finish.
- I have shoulder and back pain. I tried to get to the finish, there are two sprints left and I want to do my best in those races, he told Expressen afterwards.
