New virus Seibu to stop welcoming ceremony in the latter half of camp site Kochi February 18 20:52

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, the welcome ceremony scheduled to be held at Kochi Airport, a campsite in the latter half of Seibu Professional Baseball, was canceled.

Seibu will camp in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture from January 1 to 19 this month, and will move to Kochi, a camp site in the latter half of the 19th.

According to the team, the team flew to Kochi on the night of the 19th, and after arriving at the airport, a welcome ceremony was to be held.

However, the ceremony was canceled as the country called for self-restraint of unnecessary and urgent meetings to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

The team has announced on its website on June 16 that they will refrain from providing fan services such as signing and photography to prevent infection.
