On the women's side, the team consists of Hanna Öberg, Mona Brorsson, Linn Persson, Elvira Öberg and Johanna Skottheim.
On the men's side Sebastian Samuelsson, Jesper Nelin, Martin Ponsiluoma and Peppe Femling.
Distance is the oldest discipline in biathlon. The men run 20 kilometers and the ladies 15, with an interval start. The contestants shoot four times in the following order: landscape, portrait, landscape, portrait. A total of 20 shots and for each boom you get one minute's extra in total time.
