It was at the end of January that the Disciplinary Board's decision to move Syrianska down to Division 2 was announced.

The reason was that "the club did not pay overdue receivables on significant amounts" SvFF then announced. But five days ago, the decision was torn down due to "gross misconduct". Something that the Football Channel was the first to tell.

- Rough form errors mean that something has gone wrong in the handling. In this particular case, there have been two different cases against Syrians, says SvFF's competition consultant Pierre Blomqvist.

Syrians had two cases against him at the same time. One case concerned unpaid debts to the State and the Swedish Tax Agency. And the second case was about unpaid debts to the Swedish Football Association.

- Syrians had requested permission to submit an opinion on both cases. But the Disciplinary Board had only perceived this in one case. In a post-scrutiny, after the decision was announced, it was discovered that Syrians requested deferral in both cases, Blomqvist explains.

As a result, Syrians do not know if there will be games in Division 1 or 2 next season. Something that only becomes clear when the Disciplinary Board has made its new decision. But when a decision is made it is difficult to say.

Today is the last day for Syrians to comment on that case again. But it is also something that can make it take longer.

- If they (Syrians) come in and present new documents, they must be dealt with and dealt with. So the handling depends on the material that comes in, says Blomgqvist and then adds:

- However, because the notification requested that the Disciplinary Board downgrade the association, it is of great importance that the matter be dealt with as quickly as possible.
