There have been several trips back and forth about which team will face FC Rosengård in the first round of the Swedish Cup since LB07 announced last week that they are leaving their place in both the elite and the cup due to poor finances.

After nine no, the Division 1 team Västerås BK30 today agreed to meet the reigning champion on Saturday.

- Great fun. We got the inquiry last Friday and it was just smiling. A fantastic challenge and a great match to be had, while we know that it is one of Sweden's best teams. But it will be incredibly fun. It is invaluable for the girls to get a receipt of where they stand, coach Markus Lindberg told SVT Sport.

"Found a sponsor"

How did the player squad receive the message?

- We will talk to the players tonight. We have had a dialogue with them in the meantime. We do not have a professional squad in that way, they are not employees and they have jobs alongside so it has been a small puzzle to get them out of work as we need to leave already on Friday. But it is resolved and the players have received it very positively.

There were a lot of clubs on the road that refused. Was it never relevant to you?

- The question was up. It is a cost of course, with making the trip down and hotel nights on it. The first aspect was the financial part but there we found a sponsor who goes in with that money. When it was done, we knew that as long as the players were coming off we couldn't say no.
