On Monday, another case was revealed where an athlete, a competitor in Sweden, was tested positive for doping. This is a person who competes for a Swedish club but who himself is not a Swedish citizen.

Johan Storåkers feels distraught after today's doping case.

- Such a day can only be stated that the fight for pure athletics must continue, day and night. We must further intensify that struggle. We will never, never give in to our work for pure athletics.

"Impossible to follow up on all active"

Last week, the news came that Robel Fsiha had been tested positive for doping. A practitioner who spends much of the year outside Sweden's borders, which can make the union's job more difficult.

- Part of our analysis is that we must carefully review, at least our top activists, everyday training environment, whether it is Sweden or abroad. Then it is an independent popular movement and independent associations, so it is impossible for us to follow up all the active.

Big Rider's self-critical

After another doping case, Storåkers announces that work on a pure sport must be continued and made even better.

- We will analyze this within the union very carefully. This applies to our sports organization but also to our medical committee to see what we can do further.

- This evening it can only be self-critical and realize that we probably haven't done enough. We need to work further to promote a clean and free sport.
