It seems almost a curse on Anna Swenn-Larsson. The 28-year-old has not yet managed to win in the World Cup, but today she was pretty close. With four gates to the finish line, she had a clear lead on Petra Vlhova.

Then the accident was over. The Swede crashed and the victory went up in smoke.

Afterwards, she was supported by competitors.

"I'm sorry for you Anna, are you okay?" Said Wendy Holdener, who finished second in the competition, to Swenn-Larsson in the mixed zone.
