The wind was tricky in Antholz, and many stars had trouble shooting.

For the Norwegian riders it was mainly in the portrait that the shots went oblique. Medal jump Ingrid Tandrevold went from zero to four beams in the second, while Tiril Eckhoff went from two to six beams. The only Norwegian hope then was Marte Olsbu Röiseland, who would reach the podium with only one boom.

For the big Swedish jump, Hanna Öberg, it started well with five hits in the first shoot. And after a strong ride, she had the best time before the second shooting. But she had to shoot fully to secure the pallet space in the last shoot. There, however, there were three booms for Öberg, and there lost the chance to a medal. In the end, Hanna was 57 seconds after Röiseland. The only thing close to threatening the Norwegian star was surprisingly American Susan Dunklee. With full shooting she went in the lead after the second shooter, but crashed into the track and ended up 6.8 seconds later in goal.

Best Swedish became Hanna little sister Elvira instead. In her World Cup debut she impressed on the dike with only one boom, and finally went in 47.4 seconds after Röiseland.

- Elvira is therefore fifth in the final lap, really strong. She is 26 seconds from the podium. You see what is possible, she is 20, says SVT Sports expert Björn Ferry.
