Zion Williamson shone Tuesday night - Rusty Costanza / AP / SIPA

Softly but surely, Zion Williamson makes his nest in the NBA. The young Pelicans player distinguished himself against Portland (victory 138-117) by scoring 31 points in just 28 minutes of play.

The first choice of the 2019 draft, which missed the last game (defeat against Memphis, 106-99) hit in the ankle, confirms his talent when he is on foot, with nine rebounds and five assists.

"I'm setting the bar high, but it's just about finding the balance between dream and reality," commented the rookie, who was absent three months earlier in the season due to a knee injury. "I don't think he's comparable to anyone I've seen (...) someone so strong, who jumps like that ..." admired Portland winger Carmelo Anthony.
