First wrestler Jenny Fransson, then cross-country runner Robel Fsiha.

The debate about doping in Swedish sport is more relevant than long after the last week's dark headlines.

Ahead of the Antholz biathlon World Cup, which begins tomorrow, stars Hanna Öberg and Sebastian Samuelsson give their views on the problem.

- It is very sad when doping cases are discovered. What is positive is that the anti-doping system works and that cheaters get stuck. I have great confidence in the system and that I compete against pure competitors, ”says Öberg to SVT Sport.

Want to double the number of tests

Sebastian Samuelsson, a strong voice in the fight against doping, believes that the cases have been a heavy blow to Swedish sport.

- The credibility of Swedish sport gets a thorn, he says.

The 22-year-old wants to see significantly more doping tests than is currently done.

- Even if you double the number and do 7,000 tests a year, it's too little. We need to test more people and test more often. It is important that resources are put into this for the whole sport's credibility depends on this, says Samuelsson.
