Hanna Öberg has a medal chance in all starts in Antholz, the championship runs between 13 and 23 February.

- I believe in three medals: Damafafetten, Hanna Öberg and one more. It is probably most likely Hanna Öberg again (who is reigning Olympic and world champion at a distance of 15 km). If Öberg were to become ill, there was a risk that there would be no medal as much depends on her, says Ferry.

- I don't think it will be a medal for the guys this year.

Öberg has been traveling since the New Year

Hanna Öberg has stayed in Central Europe and has not been home since around the New Year.

- I think Hanna Öberg, who has taken a step this season, is exactly where she wants to be. Since then she has not been home since New Year but has gone between the different competitions and the training but she has the love with her (Jesper Nelin) so it should work anyway.

When Nelin was cold, he had to change rooms and be isolated in the hotel. The well-honed jewel of the biathlon team Hanna Öberg would be protected in an important build-up phase towards the World Cup.

Hanna Öberg with the first victory of the season

Some chances behind Öberg

Behind Öberg there are a couple of medal jumps if everything is correct and the stars are right.

- Linn Persson has been sharp when she had no problems with her back and we know how good Mona Brorsson was last year. Sooner or later Mona Brorsson will get it and be on the podium and it would be awesome if it was at the World Cup. Then we should not write by Johanna Skottheim who was actually four in Ruhpolding. Elvira Öberg lurks a bit in the reeds and all the girls have high capacity.

The Swedish national team leadership is low and has no pronounced medal goals in Antholz.

- You always want to win medals but in biathlon is not easy. We did the last hard workout yesterday, says national team coach Johannes Lukas, Wolfgang Pichler's German substitute who is only 26 years old.

"Feels a little uneasy with the Swedish gentlemen"

The Swedish gentlemen may be knocked out. Sebastian Samuelsson is best placed in the World Cup with number 32. There is nothing that gives the competition scare hiccups.

- It feels a little disturbing with the gentlemen. They drove the hard pass yesterday and were very even, all three (Jesper Nelin and Martin Ponsiluoma) basically went at the same speed in just a second. If there is a person who is in top form then that person usually stands out. I do not see it as likely that all three are in the prime form of their lives. I would have liked to see Sebastian Samuelsson be a bit ahead of there, Ferry thinks.
