The news that Daniel Fåhraeus is taking over as new length manager was reported in mid January. The idea was that he would start his new job on April 1 and that he would get to know his new colleagues in the beginning by "trying out" in, among other things, Falun this weekend.

"The first priority will be to get into the wallet bus, cook coffee and meet people at the office," Daniel Fåhraeus told SVT Sport then.

But SVT Sport can now reveal that Fåhraeus is already jumping on his new job and working two days a week with his new tasks.

- It is very important that he comes in already, it means that he will be able to make the right decision later on, says Mathias Fredriksson.

Above all, it is about getting into the organization by, among other things, being out at competitions and meeting people. Fåhraeus is also already involved in all decision-making processes going forward. He, together with the associate director Ola Strömberg, also has the final say in the appointment of the post as national team manager.

- The fact that he is already starting now makes it real. There are two services that are very central to which there were no people, so it would be strange if they had not been noticed. But since the national team manager will become Fåhraeu's closest man, it is reasonable that he is involved in that process, says Fredriksson.

SVT Sport has sought Daniel Fåhraeus for a comment.
