Frida Karlsson's absence has been filled with question marks. SVT Sport told the ski association's associate director Ola Strömberg that the competition stop was about a lack of nutrition. The end of November in Ruka was the last time Frida Karlsson stood on a pair of skis in Swedish dress. Now this weekend in Falun, however, the 20-year-old will make a long-awaited comeback.

- While all teammates had goals that are more based on results and good performances, I have had the goal to come here and stand here today, says Frida Karlsson at a press conference in Falun today.

During the Sports Gala, Frida Karlsson received two prizes, including this year's newcomer. On the red carpet before the crow, Karlsson said that it would not be long before the Swedish audience saw her in the tracks and now it is time, after just over two and a half months of absence. According to Karlsson himself, goals regarding investments are of no great importance at first.

- Of course, I will set new goals that are more performance-based but right now I am just so happy to be here, says Karlsson today.
