Four points were scored by André Burakovsky from the 6-1 match against Buffalo. The Swedish has not scored so many points in an NHL match before.

- I do not know. My chain mates scored when I saw them, it was just that. No, I think we played a pretty good match. My chain had a lot of good chances and that's how we have to keep playing, "Burakovsky says in an interview with the club after the game.

Burakovsky gives praise to the attack colleagues, Valerij Nitushkin and Nazem Kadri.

- Sometimes you just click. "Valy" does a fantastic job, struggles hard and wins a lot of puck. It's hard to take the puck out of him. And "Naz" does an incredible job and finds open spaces and passages and the like, says Burakovsky.

Practice wrist shots

Burakovsky's goals in the first period were beautiful to view. The 24-year-old got a lot of space, and cleaned up the puck in the cross with a wrist shot.

- I work extra on the wrist shot. I have a softer club to get rid of it quickly, and it has paid off, Burakovsky tells the club.

In his first 48 matches, the 24-year-old has scored more than one point in twelve matches. Only ten other players have made more in the history of Colorado and Quebec.

There are more numbers that point to the fact that Malmöson seems to have found the right place in Colorado. With 39 points, this year's season is already his best so far, as he has now scored his best results both on the goal side (17, as well as the 2015-2016 season) and on the assist 23 (as the 2016-2017 season).

Debut for Johansson

After about half the match and five goals scored, Carter Hutton had to leave the Buffalo box, and Jonas Johansson had to make his NHL debut. However, the 24-year-old got off to a sad start, dropping in the first shot thrown at him. Then he pulled himself together, and Johansson, who previously played for Brynäs and Almtuna, stopped the other 13 shots.

Many injured

Johansson was called up from the AHL at the end of January after Linus Ullmark injured himself and was helped by the rink during a match against Ottawa. Ullmark will be gone for a few more weeks. Buffalo is also burdened with the fact that star Rasmus Dahlin is injured, as is Johan Larsson.

Buffalo coach Ralph Krueger notes that the match contained unacceptable individual mistakes, that he abandoned the game idea and that Colorado was at the same time relentless in its effectiveness.

"This is by far the biggest disappointment at home this season," he says.
