“My nose was broken many times, so I know how to correct it,” the boxer told Boris Klin, a special correspondent for RT, a member of Moscow PMC, who visited him in a pre-trial detention center.

Kushitashvili and another boxer, Hovik Hovhannisyan, were detained in Moscow. As reported, during the arrest, a two-time Russian champion hit one of the employees of the Russian Guard. Subsequently, during the search, he discovered a narcotic substance.

The court placed Kushitashvili under arrest until April 1 for assaulting an employee of the Russian Guard and possession of drugs.

Kushitashvili was also expelled from the Russian team.

As the general secretary of the Boxing Federation of Russia Umar Kremlev noted, he doubts that Kushitashvili could attack an employee of the Russian Guard.
